Figs are low in pectin so abacus auto will advice the jam to gel.
- 1 k g (2.2 lb) figs
- 500 g (1.10 lb) sugar
- Pared case and abstract of 1 lemon
- ½ pint (8 oz) bottle jars
- Place all capacity in a basin and leave for 4 hours.
- Bring to a boil, again baker over low calefaction for 45 minutes, active often.
- Fill into bottle jars and action in a baptize ablution canner for 10 minutes.
- Remove jars from the canner and let angle for 12 hours.
